La Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) puso a disposición un nuevo sitio especializado en el Mecanismo Laboral de Respuesta Rápida en Instalaciones Específicas (MLRR), procedimiento previsto en los Anexos 31-A y 31-B del T-MEC para atender presuntas denegaciones de los derechos de libertad de asociación y negociación colectiva en centros de trabajo específicos.
El portal concentra información sobre qué es el MLRR, cuándo puede activarse y cuáles son sus diferentes etapas, desde la presentación de una queja hasta la investigación realizada por México y las consultas intergubernamentales.
Uno de los elementos más relevantes del nuevo sitio es un mapa interactivo de casos, que permite consultar información por entidad federativa y filtrar los datos por estatus, sector y año. Además, incorpora un apartado dedicado al Panel Laboral del MLRR, así como información sobre los casos que han llegado a esta instancia.
El sitio también reúne preguntas frecuentes, normativa, materiales de difusión, comunicados de prensa y datos de contacto, con el objetivo de facilitar el acceso a información sobre la operación del mecanismo y las investigaciones que realiza la autoridad laboral mexicana.

STPS launches website on the USMCA’s Rapid Response Labor Mechanism
The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) has launched a new website specializing in the Rapid Response Labor Mechanism for Specific Facilities (MLRR), a procedure established in Annexes 31-A and 31-B of the USMCA to address alleged violations of the rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining in specific workplaces.
The portal provides information on what the MLRR is, when it can be activated, and its various stages, from filing a complaint to the investigation conducted by Mexico and intergovernmental consultations.
One of the most important features of the new site is an interactive case map, which allows users to search for information by state and filter data by status, sector, and year. It also includes a section dedicated to the MLRR Labor Panel, as well as information on cases that have reached this body.
The site also compiles frequently asked questions, regulations, informational materials, press releases, and contact information, with the aim of facilitating access to information on the operation of the mechanism and the investigations carried out by the Mexican labor authority.
